Chef Devan is a chef and culinary storyteller working in South Asian and Caribbean food. He had a cookbook, TV appearances, a recipe library, and a big social following, but all of it lived in different places. He needed one website that pulled everything together and still felt like him.
Chef Devan is a chef and culinary storyteller working in South Asian and Caribbean food. He had a cookbook, TV appearances, a recipe library, and a big social following, but all of it lived in different places. He needed one website that pulled everything together and still felt like him.
I designed it in Figma and built it in Webflow. The look leans into the food — big images, warm colours taken from the cookbook, lots of breathing room. The homepage sends people in three directions depending on what they came for: watch his videos, cook his recipes, or book him for an event.
Recipes are set up as a Webflow CMS collection sorted by cuisine, so his team can add new ones themselves without needing me. Instead of a formal testimonials section, I used a scrolling row of real comments from his followers, which fits his voice better. Brand logos, the newsletter signup, and the events CTA are spread through the page rather than dumped at the bottom.
